Come play with children who have special needs and their siblings at Night Lights! Numerous activities are possible, such as playing basketball, blowing bubbles, playing on the computer or with video games, reading, listening to music, playing with therapy dogs, and sometimes there are even magic shows, petting zoos, face painters and jugglers. All you have to do is play and make sure that everyone stays safe and has a wonderful time. The program starts at 5:30 with a dinner provided for the volunteers. If you want to volunteer, sign up here on MobileServe and, if this is your first time, complete the volunteer application on the Rays of Light website: http://www.raysoflightdallas.org/get_involved. This should be completed AT LEAST one week before the night you intend to volunteer. So, if you want to volunteer on 12/7 then be sure to complete the volunteer application by 11/30!
